All recipients of Cornell Institute for European Studies (CIES) funding are required to acknowledge CIES support in published materials, posters, talks, websites, emails, and other communications related to the funded project. Below is some suggested text:
"This work was supported [optional: in part] by the Cornell Institute for European Studies (CIES)."
If you would like to include more detail, consider one of the following phrases:
Student fellowship and grant recipients are asked to acknowledge CIES funding on their resumes or CVs using the full title of the award as follows:
CIES Visiting Scholars and Regional Visiting Fellows are asked to note their CIES appointment in their letterhead, email signature, and on published papers. For example“Visiting Scholar, Spring 2013, Cornell Institute for European Studies.”
As appropriate, please also consider adding the CIES website to your acknowledgement: "http://cies.einaudi.cornell.edu/"
You are also encouraged to use the CIES logo on posters and websites.
